Piano Lessons

Weekly piano lessons are provided at my studio. Lessons are available to children and adults of all ages and abilities, from beginner level to early advanced level students. Whether you’re interested in learning to play classical, popular, or movie themes, piano lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and goals.

Beginning level students will focus on learning and developing basic knowledge of piano playing using method books and supplemental materials (i.e. workbook, flash cards etc.). Students will focus on developing a strong foundation in the early stage of piano study such as correct posture and hand position, sight reading skills, and the basic concept of rhythm etc. Intermediate to early advanced students will focus on furthering their techniques and developing repertoires.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in the annual piano recital where they can showcase their progress during the year. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in the Certificate of Merit examination through the Music Teachers’ Association of California.
